Canine Cuisine: Food from Home
Meals are served twice a day unless otherwise instructed by you. We highly recommend bringing your pet's food from home especially if your dog has a sensitive stomach or is on a special diet, prescription diet, or a raw diet. We do have microwaves and refrigerators for food preparation and storage requirements. When preparing to bring your pet’s food from home, please ensure that you supply enough for your pet’s entire stay. We recommend pre-portioning their food into Ziplock baggies, clearly labeled with their name.
Fresh water is available to your pet at all times, 24/7. Dishes are cleaned and disinfected often.
Medical History & Administration:
For the safety of all pet guests and caregivers, all dogs must have current immunization for: Distemper, Rabies, Bordetella and Influenza (H3N2 & H3N8).
At the time of check-in, give us the medication your pet needs. Medications must be presented in their original prescription bottle, with a description of its proper dosage and frequency. We will ensure your pet takes their medication as prescribed and will administer the medication by placing the tab on their tongue and gently massaging the pet’s neck and throat. We also use peanut butter and pill pockets to help conceal the medication if needed. If your pet prefers to take their medication with something other than what we supply, you’re welcome to bring it in from home. To better care for your pet, we ask that you make us aware of your pet's medical history during check-in.
Extra Details:
We always welcome machine-washable towels, blankets, or cuddle beds to make your pets feel more comfortable and at home. Your pup is welcome to bring anything from home that will help make them feel more comfortable, but please be cautious of bringing anything that cannot be replaced in case it gets overly-loved (damaged).
** If your pup should require lunch , this would be served here .
